Enter Our Third Annual FFA Essay Contest

We’re excited to again offer FFA members the opportunity to write an essay for a chance to be one of three winners to help fund their chapter’s trip to the National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis, October 25-28.

FFA members can win funds toward a trip to the National FFA Convention & Expo

This convention is the event of the year for more than 60,000 FFA members and gives them the opportunity to attend educational sessions, leadership workshops and competitive events that help them grow their agricultural knowledge.  

FFA members interested in entering the contest should visit our FFA Essay Contest page and submit an essay of 1,000 words or less about the following prompt: As a future ag leader, what do you want people to know about the agricultural industry? How will you help to educate them on this subject?

The contest ends at 5 p.m. on March 31, 2017, and the winners will be notified in May. The top three essay writers will receive $7,500, $5,000 and $2,500, respectively.

By offering this contest, we not only help more FFA members attend the convention, but we have an opportunity to hear from FFA members about topics such as agricultural advocacy and technology.
