Culver’s Celebrates FFA Week With Fundraiser, Return of FFA Ambassador Program
Restaurant chain’s support headlined by FFA Day giving event on February 20
PRAIRIE DU SAC, Wis.—Feb. 17, 2025—Investing in the next generation of agricultural leaders is a point of pride for Culver’s—especially during National FFA Week (Feb. 15-22). To celebrate in 2025, the restaurant chain will be introducing a new fundraiser on Give FFA Day, Feb. 20, as well as launching the second year of the FFA Ambassador Program.
On February 20, more than 900 Culver’s restaurants across the nation will come together to support local FFA chapters—and all guests have to do to get involved is dine at their local restaurant. When guests enjoy their favorite menu items on Give FFA Day at participating restaurants, a portion of all proceeds will go toward supporting local FFA chapters.
“We’re proud to be a part of the movement to advance the future of agriculture, and that’s only made possible through the help of our incredible guests,” said Alison Demmer, Culver’s senior marketing and public relations manager. “We’re grateful for the generous support our guests showed this year for the Thank You Farmers Project and for the hardworking farmers pushing the industry forward.”
In addition to this new fundraiser, Culver’s is excited to launch the second year of the FFA Ambassador Program. The initiative, which began in 2024, allows guests to nominate standout FFA members in their communities to represent Culver’s and their FFA chapter, with the opportunity to earn up to $2,500 for their local FFA chapter by participating in various opportunities provided by the restaurant chain throughout the student’s year as an ambassador.
The Give FFA Day fundraiser and FFA Ambassador Program are just two of the latest chapters in the longstanding relationship between Culver’s and FFA. The partnership was formed through Culver’s Thank You Farmers® Project, an initiative dedicated to creating a more sustainable and resilient world through advocating for the positive impact of agriculture while investing in agricultural education. As the program enters its 12th year of existence, Culver’s has donated over $6.5 million to agricultural causes through the Thank You Farmers® Project since its founding.
“Culver’s is proud to reward the hard work and leadership that so many determined students bring to the future of agriculture,” said Alison Demmer, Culver’s senior marketing and public relations manager and former Wisconsin FFA president. “We are incredibly excited to continue our support of local FFA chapters on Give FFA Day this year, and we can’t wait to meet our second class of outstanding ambassadors. The future of agriculture continues to grow brighter through their effort and enthusiasm.”
Guests looking to nominate FFA members for this contest will answer three questions regarding why the FFA member they selected should become an FFA Ambassador. FFA Ambassador nominees should be FFA members that nominators believe are doing exceptional work for their chapter and their community.
- Why would your nominee be a good representative of their FFA chapter, their community and Culver’s?
- Why does your nominee deserve to become a Culver’s FFA Ambassador?
- Does your nominee’s FFA chapter work with a Culver’s restaurant and if so, which one? (Optional)
Beginning today through February 28, nominations can be made at https://www.culvers.com/ffa-ambassador-contest. To be eligible for selection, students must be active members of their FFA chapter for the 2024-25 school year. Up to ten winning ambassadors will be selected to participate in the 2025 program.
